The fully automatic feeding and pipe cutting machine is a CNC device that utilizes an automatic feeding mechanism to transport long pipes into the cutting area and automatically cuts them to a preset length. It serves as an indispensable upstream process equipment in the pipe processing production line, providing precisely cut pipe blanks for subsequent processes such as pipe bending and pipe end forming.
feeding mechanism
Servo motor+ball screw: This is currently the mainstream configuration of high-precision pipe cutting machines, with a feeding accuracy of ± 0.05mm or even higher. Driven precisely by a servo motor, the rotational motion is converted into linear motion through a ball screw, pushing the pipe forward.
Double hanging clamp feeding mode: This is an advanced feeding technology. By using two alternating clamps (hanging clamps) and the clamping device inside the machine head box, precise feeding of ultra long pipes can be achieved, and the initial cutting position can be accurately positioned through an induction switch to optimize the handling of remaining material heads and tails.
Cylinder feeding: commonly used in economical pipe cutting machines, with fast feeding speed but relatively low precision compared to servo, suitable for situations where length accuracy is not required.
Feed length control: Control the pulse number of the servo motor through PLC or CNC system, or combine closed-loop feedback such as grating ruler and infrared distance sensor to accurately control the feed length and ensure the consistency of the cutting size.
Control system: PLC with touch screen or industrial computer is commonly used, with a user-friendly interface that can store a large number of processing parameters, realize the setting and real-time monitoring of sawing length, quantity, speed and other parameters.
