four-station pipe end forming machine

4

The four-station pipe end forming machine is a specialized equipment capable of automatically completing multiple processes such as expanding, reducing, heading, and chamfering pipe ends within one processing cycle. It complements the double-head pipe bender we discussed earlier: the pipe bender is responsible for "changing shape", while the pipe end forming machine is responsible for "finishing the end"

Core workflow
Taking the straight-line type, which has the most detailed technical information, as an example, its workflow is usually as follows:

Clamping: The operator or automatic feeding mechanism places the tube, and the hydraulic system clamps the tube.

Mold change: Driven by a servo motor, the required mold (such as a necking die) is quickly and precisely rotated to the working position.

Forming: The main cylinder drives the mold to process the pipe ends (such as necking), with the stroke and pressure precisely controlled by PLC.

Reset and cycle: After completing one workstation, the main cylinder retracts, and the servo motor switches to the next workstation (such as the expanding die) to continue processing until all processes are completed.
